Matkakoti Taikayö

 

The rooms of Matkakoti Taikayö take you to the atmosphere of a bygone era. Each room has a unique décor and colors – the details of the rooms have been carefully thought out, without forgetting today’s requirements for a good night’s sleep

 

Our guests have access to common shower and toilet facilities, a kitchenette, and a lounge. Two rooms (Ruusunen & Ylämummo) also have their own toilet. There’s also a lift in the building and our guests have free internet access.

 

Breakfast can be purchased for a discounted price at Mummola Café downstairs. The breakfast is served for our guests on weekdays from 8 am to 9 am and on weekends from 10 am to 12 am. Breakfast includes a large plate of porridge, fried egg and bacon, a home-made bun, cheese and assorted vegetables, fresh juice, and coffee/tea.

 

Each room has a different theme and a slightly different equipment. All our rooms are non-smoking.

Ruusunen (max. 2 persons)

Our romantic suite has a round double bed, a private toilet, and a balcony with lake views. There is also a wardrobe, chest of drawers and a small seating area. Room size 14 m².

 

Ylämummo (max. 3 persons)

Our most colorful room has one double bed and one single bed. The room also has a wardrobe, a table with chairs and a private toilet. Room size 17 m².

 

Taikayö (max. 2 + 1 persons)

Soothing, forest-green room with a double bed, chest of drawers and antique chairs. This room can also accommodate an extra bed. Room size 18 m².

 

Tuulen viemää (max. 2 persons)

The red mansion-like room has two single beds that can be pulled together. There is also a wardrobe and a small desk. Room size 13 m².

 

Pikkukammari (max. 2 persons)

This small pink bedroom has two single beds. There is also a small chest of drawers and a small table with two chairs. Room size 11 m².
